We’re looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to help turn vision into action. As Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role on our management team, working closely with the Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations that keep The Dam running smoothly. From finance and HR to communications, IT, administration, and facilities, you’ll ensure all moving parts are aligned, accountable, and supporting our mission. You don’t need to be an expert in everything—but you do need to be a strong leader who can bring people together, set clear priorities, and step into the details when needed.

The Dam is a non-profit charity focused on supporting the health and well being of youth, through programs that include, but are not limited to, employment support, housing support, food support, after school drop-ins, lunch drop-ins, dinner program, volunteer nights, art & drama, recreation/ f itness, girls/boys/LGBTQ++ groups, mentoring, youth leadership, and school/community outreach. The Dam was founded in 1995 and established its success and recognition as a leading youth serving organization in Mississauga through its Meadowvale site.  A second site was established in Cooksville in 2012 which is now equally successful.  The Dam is continuously exploring opportunities for growth and expansion to reach as many youth as possible. Our mission is partnering with youth to create an inclusive community where all are welcomed, valued and respected towards a vision where youth are empowered to discover their worth, enabling them to grow and thrive in their communities.
