Executive Assistant / Donor Relations
June stared as a drop-in volunteer in 2000 and worked as the Office Manager from 2003-2004. She volunteered in admin for a bit and then started in her current role in June 2006. June's previous life was as an executive working for the Bank of Montreal. Ken Dryfhout
Youth Specialist
Ken is the face most youth see in drop-in and outreach programs. With his charisma and education (Masters of Divinity) Ken brings the philosophy of The Dam to our most hurting youth. Ken heads up and directs the drop-in component for The Dam programs as well as other related ministries. Robin Bemmann
Youth Outreach Worker
Robin started in April 2006.She has experience working at a youth correctional facility and in youth ministry. Robin works out of the drop-in, helping to develop workshops and other programming that focuses on the physical, social, emotional and spiritual well-being of the youth. Phil Nicho
Youth Outreach Worker
Phil started in January 2007. Phil has been a part of The Dam for the last four years. He began as a high school placement and then was summer staff for two years while in college. Phil volunteered on Friday nights for three years while he was in school. It is a pleasure to have Phil back at The Dam. Gerry Small
Youth Outreach Worker
Gerry started in January 2007. Gerry has been at The Dam since last January as a school placement and then as summer staff. Gerry is eager to connect with youth who are new to The Dam community and has a heart for the youth we are not yet reaching. Krista Geerlinks
Affinity Coordinator
Krista started in February 2007. As a former CAS Worker in Halton, she has a lot of intervention experience in a social work setting. Krista is excited to begin ministry at The Dam where she can now be a part of the preventative work with the moms and their children. Her experience and skills add a new dimension to Affinity. Monika Ozimek
Affinity Outreach Worker
Monika has an incredible heart for children, young mothers, and youth. She has had over eight years of experience working with these populations in different contexts. Monika describes her heart for young mothers and youth as walking alongside them to see them reach their full potential!                                                                                                                                                                                                            

Terry Mady
Safe Places Coordinator
Terry joined the staff team in October 2004. He has been involved in the ministry of The Dam one way or another since the beginning as a volunteer, a board member and a staff peer mentor. Terry has a background in commercial business and a Masters of Divinity from Tyndale University. Yvonne Double
Office Manager

Maureen Sawicki
Office Admin Assistant (part-time)
Maureen started work at The Dam in 1999 as the Office Administrator. She moved to part-time working on fundraising and finances in the office. When she can get out of the office (which is now most of the time), she loves to connect with youth and spend time with her family. Cheryl Morris
Office Admin Assistant (very part-time)
Cheryl begin her connection to The Dam through the Misconception Theatre Troupe which shared space with the drop-in in the 90's. In addition to assisting with admin, Cheryl also helps with the Affinity program when needed. She is great at taking pictures, but not at being in them.
